Kids can color their way to a very special evening
Participate in coloring contest for a chance to flip the switch at the 2008 Circle of Lights® presented by the Contractors of Quality Connection and Electrical Workers of IBEW 481
What: The Contractors of Quality Connection and Electrical Workers of IBEW 481, the presenting sponsors of the 2008 Circle of Lights®, are offering children age 12 and under the opportunity to flip the switch at the Downtown lighting event on Nov. 28 via a coloring contest. Thousands enter every year!
The selected child will be announced Nov. 24. The child will receive a Circle of Lights® presented by the Contractors of Quality Connection and Electrical Workers of IBEW 481 gift, their original coloring sheet entry, a photo of the winner with Santa on stage and VIP reception invitations for up to four people.
When: The coloring contest begins Nov. 6 and concludes Nov. 19.
Where: Pick up a coloring sheet at select Quality Connection contractor offices or print one from www.qc-indy.com. The sheet will also be available in The Indianapolis Star Nov. 7, 9 & 14. Drop-off locations are listed on the coloring sheet, along with a mailing address (9801 Fall Creek Rd., Ste. 320, Indianapolis, IN 46256). All coloring sheets must be turned in by 3 p.m. Nov. 19.

Circle of Lights® presented by the Contractors of Quality Connection and Electrical Workers of IBEW 481 will take place Friday, Nov. 28 on Monument Circle. The event begins at 6 p.m. with the televised show starting at 7 p.m. This event is an opportunity for the community to join together and celebrate peace and brotherhood. Those in attendance will surely be delighted with a special appearance from holiday entertainers and the NEW larger-than-life toy soldiers and sailors and peppermint sticks adorning Monument Circle. In addition, Santa will make his first official appearance of the 2008 season.
